Miles G. Hughes - Consultant, Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR), with 26 years of experience in production and quality control of commercial avionics products. BS Degree, area of emphasis in electronics, Arizona State University, College of Engineering-1982. AAS Degree in Avionics Instrument Systems Technology, Community College of the Air Force. He is expert in aircraft and shop maintenance of avionics and systems for military aircraft. He has conducted component conformity inspections at numerous international and domestic locations. He was the ODAR Administrator for Honeywell's Air Transport Division, and Chief Inspector for FAA part 145-repair station in support of numerous Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) projects for Honeywell, worldwide. Experience includes Boeing 777 Aircraft Information Management System (AIMS). He has reviewed test procedures, manufacturing processes and assured compliance to customer contracts and good quality practices. Conducted material review boards, examined discrepancy reports and related specifications and conducted first article reviews. Prior to civilian DAR efforts Miles was a United States Air Force Avionics Maintenance Manager Chief Master Sergeant.
