Mr. Licari's education includes M.S., 1984, Computer Science, Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ. Ph.D., 1974, Physics, Pennsylvania State University, State College, PA, M.S., 1971, Physics, Pennsylvania State University, State College, PA, B.S., 1969, Physics, The City College of the City University of New York, NY. . Jims experience includes the Software Certification Lead for the Sikorsky S-92 and Canada Maritime Helicopter Programs. He has oversight of software suppliers and certification of software components for air conditioning and heating, flight controls, display controllers, engine monitors and all systems related to helicopters. Jim has intimate knowledge of software engineering metrics, methodologies, and procedures; ISO 9001/CMM; and subcontractor management. He has overseen systems integration interfacing with suppliers and customers. Jim is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics. Jim also specializes in software audits and has authored procedures for auditing. He speaks French and Italian. Jim is a patent holder and multiple award winner for excellence in his professional endeavors.
