Paragon Transportation, LLC, was founded for the purpose of assisting airframe manufacturers, avionics equipment suppliers, and other aircraft related organizations in both product development and in dealing with the complex issues of certifying avionics systems and equipment. Paragon is experienced in providing guidance to the aviation community to achieve aircraft and equipment certification on schedule and at a minimum cost.
Paragon employs Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs) for the Federal Aviation Administration. In this capacity, we are able to approve or recommend the approval of:
FAA certification program management
Aircraft major alterations
Aircraft equipment installation
Aircraft avionics equipment
Safety analysis
Software development documentation
Ground and flight test procedures
All other data needed for type certification
All engineering aspects can be handled for these programs. Design of complex avionics installations, mechanical modifications, kit production, and installation on contract can be arranged.
